Amber Mark returns with the smooth and soulful “Sweet Serotonin,” a preview of her second album.

Amber Mark embraces soulful minimalism in her latest release, “Sweet Serotonin,” a song that leads the way toward her second album, expected later this year via PMR / Interscope Records. The single follows her vibrant Loosies EP and marks a more intimate and lyrical direction.

From the opening line, “I’ll say this really clear now: Yeah, I want you, baby,” Mark sets an assertive and tender tone. Her voice glides over a warm instrumental bed of bass, subtle drums, and gentle keys — creating a track that’s equal parts vulnerable and confident.

With lyrics like “You talking sweet, you talking sly now / You giving me that sugar high now,” Mark illustrates a musical world that’s lush yet controlled. There’s a deliberate restraint here that heightens the emotional depth of the song.

Fresh off her performance at Sabrina Carpenter’s BST Hyde Park event in London, where she appeared on both July 5 and 6, Amber now prepares for a major U.S. tour. She’ll join Carpenter again this fall for the second North American leg of the Short n’ Sweet Tour, including multiple nights at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and Crypto.com Arena.

“Sweet Serotonin” sets the stage for what promises to be a deeply felt and well-crafted album. Mark’s continued evolution as an artist is evident in every layer of this single — signaling her readiness to step fully into her next chapter.
