Set for release April 18 via Ruf Records, this record brings unrelenting energy, fierce guitar work, and a fearless attitude that makes it a standout in modern blues.

Venable, known for her electrifying live performances and intricate guitar solos, teams up with Grammy-winning producer Tom Hambridge to craft an album that blends soulful storytelling with fiery instrumentation. Featuring collaborations with Shemekia Copeland and Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, Money & Power showcases a range of emotions, from triumphant anthems to deeply personal ballads.

“This album is about taking control—owning your voice, your strength, and your power,” Venable says. “It’s a reminder that we are all capable of greatness.”

Standout tracks include “Brown Liquor”, where Kingfish delivers a blistering solo, and “Unbreakable”, which finds Venable and Shemekia Copeland trading vocals in a gripping performance. Meanwhile, “Maybe Someday” leans into soulful horns and heartfelt lyrics, offering a softer side to the album.

Following her Billboard Blues Chart-topping album Real Gone, Venable continues to push the boundaries of blues-rock, bringing her signature sound to a wider audience than ever before. Money & Power drops April 18, and fans can pre-order now.
