With ‘Change of Plans’, Ally Salort explores love, identity, and growth in her alt-pop debut.
Ally Salort’s debut EP Change of Plans has officially arrived via Disruptor Records/RCA Records. The rising singer-songwriter channels personal upheaval into a compelling alt-pop collection that resonates with emotional authenticity.
The EP includes previously released singles “Pretty Face,” “Before & After,” and “Horror Movie,” alongside updated versions of “Swiss Army Knife” and “Any Way I Can.” From start to finish, the project is packed with cinematic storytelling and a rawness that captures the feeling of navigating unexpected life turns.
Ally shares, “‘Change of Plans’ felt like the perfect title to describe the emotional detour this project takes you through…”
Crafted with purpose, each track on the EP reflects different emotional states—from heartbreak and confusion to clarity and acceptance. The sound is equally expansive, blending soft alt-pop tones with introspective, hard-hitting lyrics.
Ally will mark the release with two headline performances: August 14 at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles and August 20 at Mercury Lounge in New York City. She’s also confirmed for Austin City Limits on October 12—an exciting moment in her rapidly rising journey.
