Adrian Lyles releases “King of Everything,” a stripped-down alt-pop track exploring self-reflection. Now touring with almost monday.
Adrian Lyles shares his most introspective release yet with “King of Everything,” a raw and emotive single now streaming via Hollywood Records. The track marks a departure from Adrian’s upbeat sound, leaning into stripped-back production to focus on his reflective lyrics and heartfelt vocal performance.
Co-written by Adrian, Sissy Smith, and producer Lenii, “King of Everything” explores the pressures of self-competition and the emotional toll it can take. As Adrian explains, “The entire song is about constantly competing with yourself in everything you do, to a level that could become unhealthy.” With poignant lines like “Ghost town, no calls, no sound, they’ll all bow out when they’re getting sick of chasing,” Adrian’s lyrics offer a raw look at vulnerability.
At just 20 years old, Adrian has made waves with previous singles like “Somewhere To Go” and “Formalize Me,” blending indie and hip-hop influences into his unique sound. His talent has earned acclaim, with Sweety High dubbing him “the next big thing in pop.”
Fans can hear “King of Everything” live as Adrian hits the road with almost monday on their DIVE Tour, which begins tonight in Salt Lake City. The tour will visit major cities like New York and Los Angeles, wrapping up February 22 at The Echoplex.
