The chart-topping singer blends emotion and resilience in her latest feel-good anthem.

BRIT award-winning, multi-platinum selling artist Jessie J has released her brand-new single ‘Believe in Magic’, out now via Darco Artist Partnerships (D.A.P).

Reuniting with previous collaborators Los Hendrix and Jesse Boykins III – who produced and co-wrote Jessie J’s deeply personal single ‘No Secrets’ earlier this year – Jessie J offers another heartfelt reflection on ‘Believe In Magic’. While the single was written back in 2022, ‘Believe In Magic’ feels as fresh and resonant as ever, carrying a timeless emotional weight, as Jessie J balances vulnerability with resilient optimism. The single is also accompanied by a stunning, golden kaleidoscopic visualiser directed by Mitch Peryer.

Speaking about the single, Jessie J said:

I wrote Believe in magic in 2022 when I was in my early pregnant months. I was breaking open and loving writing again. It was a deep hopeful loving feeling I wanted to put into a song. It resonates with me more now than perhaps it did then. That’s the beauty of music, it can travel in time. I love this song. I hope you (yes you) get the inspiration for your life in your own way. That’s my only hope for all my music.

‘Believe In Magic’ follows previous singles ‘No Secrets’ and ‘Living My Best Life’ and their respective acoustic renditions. Both tracks have received widespread praise with ‘No Secrets’ quickly landing on BBC 1Xtra’s playlist, and ‘Living My Best Life’ placing on BBC Radio 2’s and Capital FM’s A List. Produced by GRAMMY award-winning producer Ryan Tedder (One Republic, Beyonce, Adele), ‘Living My Best Life’ is a pure celebration of positivity and joy, serving as the perfect yin to the raw and emotional yang of ‘No Secrets’.

Earlier this summer, Jessie J delivered a show-stopping performance at Wembley Stadium for Capital’s Summertime Ball, and she’ll return to the stage at Radio 2 In The Park on Saturday 6th September, her first performance since recovering from breast cancer. These performances follow a dazzling performance of power-ballad ‘The Award Goes To’ at the BAFTA Television Awards in May, her first television performance in six years.
