Double Touch | ‘Gran Amigo’ merges live elegance with club-ready energy | New EP deepens their ‘All Day I Dream’ journey

Double Touch unveil Gran Amigo, their newest EP out now on All Day I Dream. The four-track release once again highlights the duo’s signature blend of global grooves and classical sensibilities, all wrapped in lush, atmospheric production.

Crafted by pianist Van-Anh Nguyen and producer/drummer Mark Olsen, the duo brings both formal music education and electronic expertise into each piece. Based in Sydney and Los Angeles, their cross-continental influence shows up clearly across this 23-minute offering.

The EP begins with “Come With Me,” a slow-building opener laced with warm percussive elements. It’s followed by “Desire,” a rhythm-forward track that showcases the group’s knack for pairing movement with emotion. On the title track “Gran Amigo,” they lean into dreamy synths and reflective piano, leading into the EP’s closer “Amour,” which sinks into deep house territory with emotive resonance.

First introduced to All Day I Dream listeners in 2019, Double Touch have steadily expanded their sound while keeping to their roots—offering intricate live performances and contributing consistently to the label’s Summer Sampler series.

Gran Amigo demonstrates a new level of cohesion in their sound—each track maintains its own identity while feeding into a larger emotional arc. It’s music made for dancing, but equally for introspection.

As their international presence continues to grow, Double Touch’s Gran Amigo invites listeners into a deeper layer of their musical world.
