Amma delivers her first solo project ‘Middle Child’ | A bold, emotional debut ahead of her festival performance
Amma, the London-based singer-songwriter known for crafting hits behind the scenes, now steps forward as a solo artist with her debut EP Middle Child. The three-track release is available now across all digital platforms through The Orchard and highlights Amma’s depth as both a writer and performer.
Having contributed to successful releases from artists like FLO, IVE, Nao, and Sam Feldt, Amma has quietly made her mark within the industry. But Middle Child places her firmly in the spotlight—introducing a new chapter of artistry marked by honesty, emotion, and self-expression.
The timing of the release couldn’t be more significant. Amma is also set to perform live for the very first time on August 23rd at London’s All Points East Festival, joining her sisters RAYE and Absolutely onstage. This live debut positions Amma not only as a studio force but as a performer ready to connect in real time. 
What makes Middle Child stand out is its emotional openness. The songs draw on Amma’s lived experiences, but the storytelling is designed to be shared. “There’s 27 examples of emotions and 8 billion people in the world. That means we’re never really alone in how we feel,” she says. That quote forms the emotional cornerstone of the EP—an invitation for listeners to feel less isolated in their own journeys.
