Rema revives dancefloor nostalgia with rhythmic new release “Kelebu,” produced by London.

Rema continues pushing creative boundaries with the release of “Kelebu,” a high-energy single that draws from his childhood dance music memories and transforms them into a modern anthem.

As he celebrates the one-year anniversary of his HEIS album, Rema builds on the momentum of a sold-out world tour. Stops at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and The O2 Arena confirmed his appeal as a boundary-pushing performer.

Produced by London, “Kelebu” merges old-school bounce with new-school swagger, offering a soundscape that’s as evocative as it is danceable.

“Growing up, I didn’t have a phone to create my music taste, my household had different music tastes, I listened to what everybody played. In school parties, we used to dance to a lot of Caribbean and Francophone bounces. We didn’t care about what they were saying because most of them were not even in our local language in Nigeria. They just kept repeating one word with a fantastic instrumental backing it up, and we all danced. Making music now, I’m reliving those moments by expressing it with my art,” Rema explains.

Following a surprise appearance alongside Drake at Wireless, Rema once again captures attention with a sound that’s both reflective and forward-thinking. “Kelebu” invites listeners into his past while setting the tone for the future.
