For the first time, Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki release a track together. “Bloodtype” with LAWRENT is out now.

Global DJ icons Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki have finally joined forces, delivering their debut collaboration “Bloodtype” alongside producer LAWRENT. After years of sharing festival lineups, their paths converge on this dark and high-energy club track, now released through Warner Music.

LAWRENT, the London-based talent whose production style is making international waves, brings his unmistakable edge to the mix. Schulz and Aoki channel that energy into a pulsing track filled with explosive beats and driving basslines. For Schulz, “Bloodtype” continues a deeper dive into electronic territory following his earlier 2024 release “Freaking You Out”.

The song’s lyrics capture fleeting connection under flashing lights, echoing club euphoria: “Imma give you my bloodtype / Baby, you’re just my bloodtype.” It’s a moment that’s immediate and visceral, punctuated by the line, “Back to my place.” The vocal treatment gives it a slightly icy, detached feel that matches the intensity of the production.

Already part of Schulz’s summer setlists, “Bloodtype” has made its mark across festivals like Electric Love and Tomorrowland, and his Ibiza shows at Pacha. With support from acts like Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Icona Pop, the track has established itself as a crowd-mover.

This release represents a new creative crossroad for all three producers, with Schulz and Aoki finally collaborating in the studio. Together with LAWRENT, they deliver a powerful single that lives in the tension between chaos and control.
