“Amsterdam” marks Don Diablo’s first single under ‘CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ’, following a massive tour run.
Don Diablo presents a fresh sonic chapter with the debut of CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ, launching the project on Monstercat with the release of “Amsterdam”. Known for constant evolution, the Dutch DJ now brings a deeper, more experimental edge to his repertoire.
“Amsterdam” integrates distorted vocal samples, dramatic melodies, and drum and bass influences, resulting in a track that stands apart from his mainstream catalog. The single captures the essence of Don Diablo’s personal connection to the city, both musically and emotionally.
Don shared, “I’ve always been a big fan of Monstercat, so releasing my first CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record with them feels like the perfect match. This project has become one of the most exciting journeys for me creatively this year. This new track is called ‘Amsterdam,’ it’s high energy, emotional, and a heartfelt tribute to the city I grew up in and still deeply love. Honestly, this might be my favorite CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record so far.” 
The release arrives shortly after Don Diablo completed a sold-out North American tour, hitting major cities including Washington DC, Montreal, and Los Angeles. To celebrate the new single, he’s also scheduled a Paradiso performance in Amsterdam on September 19, his first in the city since 2018.
This moment marks a continuation of Don’s prolific 2024, which has already included major milestones such as a collab with Nelly Furtado, a new release on Sweat It Out, and the 10-year anniversary of HEXAGON.
With festival appearances lined up throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ represents not just a project—but a redefinition.
