G Flip offers a heartfelt preview of upcoming album ‘Dream Ride’ with new single “In Another Life.”
G Flip’s next album chapter begins with “In Another Life,” a new single ushering in their upcoming full-length album Dream Ride, which is due September 5. The single, out now via AWAL Recordings, embraces nostalgia and vulnerability, built for those moments when emotions run high and the stereo’s turned up loud.
The creative inspiration for Dream Ride stems from G Flip’s deep dive into 80s sonics. As they describe: “I love the use of reverb, the drum tones, all the sonics, the musicality… I also really wanted to make a world to accompany the music and storytelling.”
That world includes an alter ego—Butch Springsteen—embodying a fantasy blend of non-binary energy, retro aesthetics, and musical grit. 
“In Another Life” sets the tone for the project’s cinematic and emotional layers. G Flip adds: “I’m stoked to be sharing more of this world with ‘In Another Life’. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.”
