Israeli alt-pop star Noga Erez has released her latest track, “WATCH THE NEWS,” offering a sharp critique of how news has evolved into a spectacle. Created alongside Ori Rousso and Itamar Loebstein, the song dives into themes of media addiction and psychological manipulation.
“After tuning out the news (for a very long time) to protect my peace of mind, I gave in—and tuned back in,” she explains. “What I saw wasn’t journalism; it was performance… It made me think: what if news consumption today is closer to addiction than awareness?”
Sonically, “WATCH THE NEWS” features pulsating electronic elements, moody textures, and Erez’s signature vocal clarity. The production builds a sense of unease — a deliberate choice echoing the message at the heart of the lyrics. 
Following this release, Noga Erez is gearing up for a major North American tour, set to begin September 23 in Brooklyn. With multiple shows already sold out, her return to the stage promises to be a highlight of 2025’s live music circuit.
