Uplifting and heartfelt, Clean Bandit and Lloyiso’s “Believe” celebrates resilience and unity.
Clean Bandit brings orchestral pop back into the spotlight with the release of “Believe,” a collaboration with Lloyiso, whose soulful delivery brings depth and heart to the track. This vibrant single merges classical instrumentation with modern pop elements, creating a standout moment in the group’s latest chapter.
“Believe” offers a message of empowerment and hope, perfectly timed for the summer season. With soaring strings and poignant lyrics, it captures the spirit of personal revival and inner light.
Grace from Clean Bandit recalls the creative spark behind the song: “We met Lloyiso in South Africa… Then LLOYISO walked in and just SANG, at the top of his lungs. It was so moving… We all went crazy when we heard [Jack’s chords] — making a song across continents felt so special.”
Lloyiso adds his perspective on the message behind the music: “‘Believe’ is about choosing yourself even when it’s hard, even when you’re unsure… I hope it resonates with anyone who’s had to fight to hold on to their light.”
Visual artist Rita Zimmermann created the artwork that pairs with the single, describing it as “a declaration of faith… To believe — and to begin again.”
Live, the collaboration came to life with an acoustic performance at the Isle of Wight Festival, part of Sky’s Open House, before Clean Bandit took the main stage. Their return to the spotlight began last fall with “Cry Baby,” featuring Anne-Marie and David Guetta, marking a renewed phase for the London-based trio.
