KATSEYE’s “Gabriela” introduces their first Spanish verse and a telenovela-inspired video starring Jessica Alba.
With Beautiful Chaos just around the corner, KATSEYE continues their rise in global pop with the release of “Gabriela,” a multilingual single anchored by cultural flair and lyrical intrigue.
Produced by Andrew Watt and John Ryan, “Gabriela” presents a sonic evolution for the six-member collective, blending catchy pop arrangements with layered storytelling. The track features the group’s first Spanish verse, voiced by Daniela, celebrating her Latin American heritage through music.
The video for “Gabriela” turns heads with a guest appearance from Jessica Alba, who portrays a CEO presiding over a chaotic boardroom. Directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, the video captures the melodramatic aesthetics of classic telenovelas and premiered across major MTV platforms and digital billboards.
KATSEYE shared: “Our music video for ‘Gabriela’ is vibrant, colorful, dramatic, and full of heart… We tried to honor that spirit while having fun with the concept.”
With its bold visuals and genre-blending energy, “Gabriela” follows the explosive debut single “Gnarly,” which has garnered over 100 million global streams. Remixes with Ice Spice and Lara, alongside artists like Lancey Foux, have placed the group on major industry watchlists.
The six-member group includes Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, representing a tapestry of cultures including Latin America, India, Ghana, China, the Philippines, and Korea.
