New single “Nobody” brings raw emotion to Jade Bird’s third album cycle.

Jade Bird returns with “Nobody,” the latest release from her anticipated third studio album Who Wants To Talk About Love?, set for release July 18 through Glassnote Records. The song, co-produced by Andrew Wells, explores the difficult terrain of staying in a relationship that feels beyond repair.

This deeply felt ballad is underscored by Bird’s powerful voice and signature lyrical frankness. “Knowing your relationship is in tatters but being unable to admit defeat,” Jade explains, offering insight into the emotional core of the song.

“Who Wants To Talk About Love?” is a project born of personal transformation. With previous singles “Dreams,” “Who Wants,” and “Avalanche,” Jade builds a narrative arc that spans heartbreak, family history, and self-forgiveness. The album features contributions from Andrew Sarlo and Greg Kurstin, blending indie rock textures with a folk-pop sensibility.

Jade’s reflections on familial dynamics and the echo of broken relationships lend this body of work a poignant edge. “I wrote this album while trying to make sense of the broken relationships in my family,” she notes. “It’s as much a question as an answer.”

Since her 2019 self-titled debut, Jade Bird has become known for her expressive voice and multi-genre capabilities. From her acclaimed second album Different Kinds of Light to 2024’s Burn The Hard Drive EP with Mura Masa, she continues to push her craft into new emotional and sonic territory.

“Nobody” represents a new chapter in that journey—a reminder that Jade Bird is still evolving, still asking the hard questions, and still making unforgettable music.
