MARINA debuts her sixth album “PRINCESS OF POWER” and “I <3 YOU” video — a bold new chapter.

British pop icon MARINA reintroduces herself with PRINCESS OF POWER, her sixth studio album and first independent release via Queenie Records in collaboration with BMG. This new era signals a shift in tone and autonomy, with themes centered on empowerment, self-ownership, and love.

Accompanying the album’s release is the official music video for “I <3 YOU.” Directed by Olivia De Camps, the song explores vulnerability as strength. MARINA elaborates, “One of my lessons in the last few years is that love — and showing love — is not a weak thing. Of all the superpowers we have as humans, love is our greatest one.”

Fans can catch MARINA live at WorldPride in Washington, D.C. and New York’s Governors Ball this weekend, with summer festival appearances across major lineups like Bonnaroo, Osheaga, and Outside Lands.

Where her previous album took aim at global issues, PRINCESS OF POWER is introspective. “I’ve accessed this new part of myself,” she says. “It’s really a rebuilding-my-life-from-scratch type of album. Which is probably why it has an exciting energy.”

Tracks like “EVERYBODY KNOWS I’M SAD” and “BUTTERFLY” delve into vulnerability and rebirth, while “CUNTISSIMO” and “CUPID’S GIRL” highlight a celebratory take on identity and sensuality. The album has been praised for its powerful themes and assertive tone.

This chapter affirms MARINA’s creative independence and her ability to evolve while remaining true to her artistry.
