Mimi Webb announces “Confessions”, out Sept. 12, and debuts her newest single “Love Language.”
With a growing list of accomplishments in 2024, Mimi Webb introduces a new creative era with her single “Love Language,” now available via Epic Records. Alongside the track comes the news of her upcoming sophomore album, Confessions, due out September 12.
Produced and written between sessions in Los Angeles and London, “Love Language” showcases Mimi’s artistic evolution. The track blends emotional lyrics with a rich, experimental soundscape, signaling her step into new sonic territory.
In her own words: “‘Love Language’ is my first step into this new era and I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous or excited to share a piece of music. The sound and aesthetic around it is so new and different for me and I can’t wait to bring people along for this new creative journey.”
Fans can expect the Bradley&Pablo-directed visual to premiere on June 10. The teaser suggests a stylized and vibrant approach to storytelling, complementing the song’s mood and tone.
Confessions is Mimi’s most personal work yet. Offering a blend of vulnerability and empowerment, the album addresses themes of heartbreak, growth, and identity. “I dug deep and figured out what I want to say not just as an artist, but as a person,” Mimi explains. “I decided to be brutally honest. It’s easy to be like, ‘Everything is wonderful’—even when there’s so much happening behind the curtain. I wanted to open up and scream, ‘This is who I am!’.”
Preceding this release was her collaborative single “Mind Reader” with Meghan Trainor, which debuted with a lively video directed by Ava Rikki.
Following a run of major tour dates and festival stages, Mimi’s return with “Love Language” sets the tone for a bold and unfiltered album cycle leading into September.
