“Dance in a Trance” from Ana Luna explores the post-breakup emotional unraveling with hypnotic precision.

With her latest single “Dance in a Trance,” genre-bending artist Ana Luna delivers a deeply introspective anthem that captures the intensity and emotional duality of a relationship that once felt all-consuming. The track arrives as her follow-up to “Oxytocin” and “Why Not,” continuing a string of emotionally resonant releases.

Featuring hypnotic vocals and rich cinematic layers, “Dance in a Trance” dives into what Ana describes as the quiet unraveling after the end of something that never had a clean resolution. “A caged romance, I danced in a trance” becomes a mantra for the liminal space between past and present, love and loss.

“People will interpret my songs however they want, but this one wasn’t about making anyone the bad guy—it was very much about me,” she shares. “It wasn’t toxic in the way we tend to define toxic now—but maybe it was in its own way, just because of how intense it all was.”

Ana Luna brings an international perspective to her work. Born in Ukraine, raised in Paris, and now creating in Los Angeles, she shapes soundscapes that blur the line between dream pop, alt-rock, and soul-baring confessionals. With her debut album on the horizon, “Dance in a Trance” sets the tone for a project that promises to blend vulnerability and artistic strength.
