“Somebody Like You” is Tiera Kennedy’s latest release about the people who bring us back to ourselves.

Genre-bending singer-songwriter Tiera Kennedy shares a personal new track, “Somebody Like You,” out now following her headline show at The Basement East in Nashville. Written with Cameron Bedell and Jared Scott, the song explores what it means to be seen, supported, and loved during life’s low moments.

“We all need somebody—someone who sees you, holds space for you, and helps you get through the hard stuff,” says Kennedy. “Somebody who keeps the light on for you when you’re finding your way back home.”

Directed by Kamren Kennedy, the official music video visually reflects the emotional weight of the song, set in a peaceful Tennessee field that allows Tiera’s performance to shine.

The single arrives after a wave of achievements: a BET Award nomination for her work on Beyoncé’s “Blackbiird,” a new Apple Music Radio episode featuring Ms. Tina Knowles, and the wide release of her fan-favorite cover of “1+1.”

Tiera also joined The War & Treaty on their Plus One Tour and made her Stagecoach debut earlier this year. With CMA Fest and Vineyard Jam performances ahead, and a new season of The Tiera Show in the works, Tiera Kennedy continues to prove herself as one of the most exciting new voices in American music.
