Country breakout Dylan Gossett announces “Westward”, his debut album, and shares “American Trail”.
Dylan Gossett has officially revealed his debut album Westward, set for release on July 18, 2025 via EMI. Coinciding with the announcement, he’s shared “American Trail,” an acoustic-driven country ballad showcasing the heartfelt songwriting that’s become his hallmark.
Gossett debuted “American Trail” live during his first appearance at Stagecoach Festival’s Palomino Stage, setting the tone for a record rooted in resilience, emotion, and connection.
Spanning 17 tracks, Westward was written and self-produced by Gossett during his global travels. It offers a deeply personal reflection on love, family, faith, and ambition—written with the same intimacy that powered the viral success of “Coal,” which has earned Platinum certification in five countries.
The album follows a banner 2024 that included high-profile festival appearances, over 72,000 tickets sold, and critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Grammy.com, and Holler.
Now on the Back 40 Tour, Gossett’s upcoming album cements him as one of country’s most important emerging voices.
