Manu Manzo and Nina Sky team up to rework “La Buena Vida,” adding horns, a new verse, and electronic energy.
Latin GRAMMY®-nominated artist Manu Manzo breathes new life into her hit song “La Buena Vida” with the help of acclaimed Puerto Rican-American duo Nina Sky. Released as a fresh take on the original, this new version isn’t just a remix—it’s a vibrant reinterpretation driven by bold production and heartfelt collaboration.
This update introduces a faster tempo and a burst of new instrumentation, including trumpets, Manu’s favorite instrument. These layered elements elevate the original’s uplifting spirit, weaving electronic textures and Latin rhythms into a joyful, danceable experience.
The creative partnership began during Latin GRAMMY® week in Miami, when Manu met Nicole and Natalie Albino of Nina Sky backstage at an event. After expressing their admiration for “La Buena Vida” during soundcheck, plans quickly came together for the remix.
Nicole Albino took the production lead in the studio, crafting a sound that balances Manu’s voice with Nina Sky’s iconic flair. Natalie Albino added a fresh English-language verse, complementing the track with a new dimension of storytelling.
To celebrate the release, the artists also created exclusive visual content together in New York, offering fans a closer look at their collaboration and chemistry. Manu says she’s “thrilled with the outcome” and believes that listeners will love this revitalized version just as much as the original.
“La Buena Vida” returns as a celebration of rhythm, connection, and reinvention—a standout collaboration from two powerful creative voices in Latin music.
