“Nota” from Jay Wheeler and Omar Courtz receives its official video treatment, following live debut in Puerto Rico.
Latin music standout Jay Wheeler continues to deliver fan-requested content with the official video for “Nota,” his steamy collaboration with Omar Courtz. The visual arrives after the release of Wheeler’s deeply personal album Girasoles, which debuted at No. 4 on Apple Music’s US Latin Top Albums.
“Nota,” produced by Kevin Omar Ortiz Bones (Yeziell) and Elvin Jesus Roubert Rodriguez (Botlok), is a track that highlights physical chemistry and unfiltered desire. With lyrics focused on embracing the moment without emotional expectations, the single connects with audiences seeking authenticity and vulnerability in modern reggaeton and pop.
“I wanted ‘Nota’ to convey that feeling of pure attraction, without complications or compromises,” explains Wheeler. “It’s a song about enjoying the moment… I loved working with Omar Courtz; we achieved a unique vibe that’s reflected in our collab.”
The video, directed by FilmHeads, was shot in Miami and captures the tone of the track perfectly—elevating its sensuality and mood.
The collaboration came full circle when Wheeler surprised fans at Omar Courtz’s sold-out shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, joining him on stage for the live debut of “Nota” in front of a roaring crowd.
As part of Girasoles, “Nota” adds a fresh layer to the album’s emotional arc, blending freedom, desire, and chemistry. Wheeler’s artistry continues to evolve, rooted in emotional transparency and driven by a deep connection to his fanbase.
