“Rico Cantidad” celebrates empowerment and Reparto culture ahead of Gente de Zona’s new album.
Marking a quarter-century of music and cultural impact, Gente de Zona releases their latest single “Rico Cantidad,” a high-energy collaboration with Dale Pututi and L Kimii. The track is now available on all streaming platforms and serves as the final teaser for the group’s upcoming May album, Reparto by Gente de Zona.
The Cuban duo—Randy Malcom and Alexander Delgado—describes “Rico Cantidad” as a state of mind, a sonic expression of self-confidence, joy, and success. “‘Rico Cantidad’ is more than just a track—it’s a state of mind that embodies confidence, freedom, style, and self-assurance,” they share. “It’s an attitude, an unstoppable energy, a sense of success, and feeling great about yourself.”
The collaboration reflects their vision to globalize Cuba’s Reparto sound, joining forces with Dale Pututi and L Kimii to deliver a track that fuses modern rhythms with timeless positivity. 
Directed with a cheeky flair, the video features an office-turned-dance floor inspired by The Wolf of Wall Street, where a diverse cast celebrates their uniqueness through confidence and movement. It mirrors the song’s message of bold self-love—regardless of appearance, background, or status.
Following previous releases including “La Conga” and “Se Trata,” “Rico Cantidad” continues building momentum for Reparto by Gente de Zona, which aims to bring heart and heat to every track.
The duo will cap off their anniversary celebrations with a special performance at Miami’s Kaseya Center on June 7, 2025—a full-circle moment for one of Latin music’s most celebrated acts.
