MAYHEM marks Lady Gaga’s bold return to pop, blending industrial, electronic, and rock influences. Featuring “Disease” and “Abracadabra.”

Lady Gaga has unveiled MAYHEM, her seventh studio album, a genre-blending body of work that merges high-energy pop with industrial and electronic elements. Out now, the album reaffirms Gaga’s status as an ever-evolving artist, balancing chaos and melody with her signature theatricality.

Recorded at Shangri-La Studios, MAYHEM features production from Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein. The album’s lead single, “Disease,” was praised by The Guardian for its “fizzing, distorted synths” and “pounding, slightly industrial beat.” Following closely, “Abracadabra” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs Chart and helped Gaga achieve a record-breaking 124 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Beyond its sonic innovation, MAYHEM delivers deeply personal storytelling. Tracks like “Perfect Celebrity” critique the culture of fame, while “Die With a Smile,” featuring Bruno Mars, brings anthemic optimism. The album’s dynamic production, from gritty guitars to hypnotic synths, showcases Gaga’s fearless approach to reinvention.
