The release of “Medusa (Acoustic)” comes as Whitcomb gears up for his most ambitious year yet. Recently named to Amazon Music’s 2025 Artists To Watch and Shazam’s Fast Forward 2025, Whitcomb is set to embark on his Hundred Mile High Tour beginning March 13 in Charlotte, NC. Named after his upcoming single “Hundred Mile High” (out January 31), the tour includes a sold-out date at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on March 28, with a second performance added on March 24 due to high demand.

Whitcomb’s February schedule will feature headline shows in Canada before he heads to Australia for a series of dates supporting Sam Barber on the Restless Mind Tour. The Australian leg has seen near sell-out demand, cementing Whitcomb’s status as a global rising star.

Tracks like “Quitter” and “Love Myself” have resonated with listeners, with Billboard describing “Quitter” as “an anthemic folk track in the mold of Noah Kahan.” The song also marked Whitcomb’s first entry on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100.

With “Medusa (Acoustic),” Cameron Whitcomb continues to connect with his audience on a profound level, delivering a heartfelt performance that underscores his talent and authenticity.
