Experience DIA and Paopao’s transformative single, “CON EL,” blending unique styles into a heartfelt reggaeton anthem.

Puerto Rican rising star DIA has released “CON EL,” an innovative reggaeton anthem featuring fellow artist and songwriter Paopao. The single, marking DIA’s debut under Casablanca Records, is now available on all streaming platforms, accompanied by a visually rich music video.

“CON EL” showcases a seamless fusion of DIA’s fiery delivery and Paopao’s signature emotive vocals. Built on bright marimba synths and a driving reggaeton beat, the track reflects both artists’ ability to innovate within the genre. As they exchange verses, themes of regret and heartbreak are explored in a fresh, experimental way.

DIA explained the inspiration behind the track, stating, “I started working on the song with Red Finger (producer), and from the moment I wrote the intro, I instantly thought of Paopao. She gives her fans that pleasant sadness in her songs. We got together in the studio, and it flowed easily. We wanted to take ‘regret’ in a different direction, and storytelling through my songs is something that identifies me. We merged both worlds together, and it resulted in ‘CON EL.’”

The music video complements the song’s emotional depth, following DIA as he reflects on the remnants of a past relationship. A sentimental plush toy becomes a symbol of lost love, while Paopao mirrors this journey in a parallel narrative. The two artists, separated by a door, choose to leave their memories behind and move forward.
