The CMG/4PF/Interscope artist reflects on street life in his latest release.
One of hip hop’s biggest superstars, 42 Dugg, has returned with the latest entry in his fan-favorite series, “It Get Deeper Pt. 3” featuring Doughboy Clay via CMG Records/4PF/Interscope Records.
The song features Dugg rapping about street life and navigating the pressures that come with it while building on his blossoming rap career. The release comes with an accompanying music video directed by Paradice Media, offering fans an inside look at Dugg’s life on the road. The visuals capture Dugg and his team vibing out, playing basketball, attending events, and enjoying the fruits of their hard work.
The new track continues the narrative of Dugg’s acclaimed “It Get Deeper” series, which began in 2020, showcasing the Detroit rapper’s unfiltered storytelling and raw energy. With Doughboy Clay’s signature style complementing Dugg’s piercing lyrics, the track is a testament to the rapper’s consistency and dominance in the rap game. 
“It Get Deeper Pt. 3” follows a string of successful releases from Dugg, including the hard-hitting single “We Not Done,” whose music video showcased Dugg riding ATVs and dirt bikes throughout his hometown of Detroit while also hitting up clubs and bringing fans into his world of ambition and success. That release further cemented Dugg’s reputation as one of the most dynamic voices in hip-hop today.
Beyond new music, Dugg has been actively connecting with fans on a national scale. He recently completed a 20-city tour supporting his debut studio album, 4eva Us, Neva Them, which features collaborations with Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Sexyy Red, Jeezy, EST Gee, Rylo Rodriguez, and Blac Youngsta. The album includes standout tracks such as “Fresh From The Feds,” “Catch 1,” “Go Again Pt 2,” and “4eva Us Freestyle,” giving listeners an intimate look into the life of the 29-year-old Detroit native.
Dugg also performed a special Memorial Day Weekend concert in Detroit alongside artists like Lucki, YK Niece, Drego & Beno, and more, following his sold-out “Welcome Home” show at Little Caesars Arena, which featured Yo Gotti, Lil Durk, GloRilla, Boosie, Big Boogie, and other top acts.
